Experience

Natalie Sequerra heads the firm´s Corporate and M&A department.  She works in complex M&A transactions, local and cross-border, in private equity deals and advising start-ups in investment rounds. She is also experienced in corporate reorganizations, negotiation of corporate conflicts and in finance transactions.  Natalie represents clients in a broad range of industries such as energy, food, logistic, pharmaceutical, technology and fintechs.

She is a member of the Regulatory Committee of ABVCAP – Brazilian Association for Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Natalie has been consistently ranked as a standout lawyer in M&A transactions by Latin Lawyer, Chambers, Legal 500 and Leader’s League.

Natalie’s extensive track record in M&A and Private Equity includes significant transactions in the Brazilian market, such as (i) acquisition of Telefónica’s data-centers by Spanish investment fund Asterion, for an amount exceeding BRL 3 billion (ii) Tencent’s investment in Nubank’s BRL 1 billion Series E-1 round, leading the bank to become the largest privately held startup in Latin America, and all of Tencent’s follow-on investments in Nubank, (iii) sale of edtech Jaleko to Grupo A (controlled by Kinea), (iv) joint venture of Chinese sovereign fund CLAI and China Three Gorges to form Rio Paraná, to operate hydroelectric power plants of Jupiá and Ilha Solteira in a project exceeding BRL 13 billion.
